Can appointments be arranged away from the office?
Yes, provided you wish attendance at somewhere within a reasonable distance, the Solicitors are more than happy to attend on you where necessary for a small travel fee.
Is there a charge to leave documents in your safe?
No, documents are held free of charge on your behalf for as long as required. Feel free to contact this office at any time to confirm the documents we hold on your behalf.
Are there any up-front costs for conveyancing on a sale?
No. At Dawson Solicitors we do not charge up-front fees for the searches required for a Contract of Sale. We find this is very helpful for people suffering any financial hardship. We will cover these costs for a period of 3 months. If the property is not sold in that time or is taken off the market we will issue a tax invoice for work performed and the disbursements incurred. These fees will then be deducted if the property does sell at a later date.
Do you have eftpos facilities?
Yes we do. You can make payments via cash, cheque, eftpos at the office or credit card payments are accepted over the phone.
